Giggle

I think the best part about that movie is the fact that it wouldn't have exploded if the jar had broken immediately. Gasoline only ignites when it is a gas, not a liquid, so the jar sitting there for a while is what gave it time to evaporate and accumulate as a gas.

Needless to say, the burning gasoline would have flown everywhere even if it hadn't evaporated very much yet. So...

Fire is fun.

TmsT responds:

You sound like an expert. Got any hilarious tales yourself?

Great jokes

You had some jokes in there that took a little thinking before you could get them. Those are the best kind.

I was wondering where Micropope was going. And then I found out. And I laughed for about five minutes.

TmsT responds:

Heh heh, and you're the best kind of viewer!

Longer!

That was pretty cool. I realize that that many frames can be a lot of work if you're drawing each one.... but it needed to be longer nonetheless. The scattered train-of-thought of images is cool, but it'd be better if you had some coherency. Some themes that you come back to, some resolution. Adding a new color right at the end or something (emphasis on "or something" ;-).

So, it has potential.

Maxwell-FA responds:

I appreciate your advice, I mean, this is the first actually constructive review. So thanks.

Well done!

You definitely did work hard on this... and it shows. Good mood---a Baroque ideal of one piece: one emotion.

The only thing I disagreed with was the music choice. Moonlight Sonata is too sad for the monotonous anguish of a cube job. You want a piece that conveys suffering without tears. I'd suggest Rachmaninoff's Elegy or the allegretto from Beethoven's 7th symphony.

Good work. I wouldn't be surprised if this gets front paged.

Umsutfeersme responds:

Thank you! I was thinking about a possible sequel, and all this postive review is really moving that idea along in my mind. thank you for your suggestions, I'll look them up! And by the way, front page? Nahhh... :D

Well done...

This was well animated, but the concept is tired. I mean, what does this movie have that xiaoxiao doesn't? Nada. And what does xiaoxiao have that this doesn't? It has a building, a goal, a boss fight, a lot of different fighting styles, etc.

Stick animation can be cool (usually isn't), and you definitely have the talent to pull it off, but for something this simple I don't see any reason to give you a high score. IMPRESS ME.

Oh, and for the music credit "NG audio portal" isn't good enough. You need to put the author and the song title in the credits. That's the agreement.

ramsy66 responds:

Sorry about forgetting to credit the person on the NG Audio Portal, but I downloaded that ages ago and forgot who it was, so i apologize but I wasn't trying to be better than Xiao Xiao. Xiao Xiao is old and boring now, I was NOT trying to be like him or anything!

Great graphics. I liked the contrast between the stick figures and the gorgeous scenery and visual effects. If you can animate that, you're allowed to use stick figures.

I would have liked it to be less dark; Sometimes I couldn't see anything going on. Other than that, it was very well animated. Makes me want to watch Kill Bill Vol. 1 again...

Get-lost responds:

Thanks dude.
Maybe it's kinda dark because of your monitor is darkish.
Thanks for the review anyway :)

xXxNEOxXx responds:
